Eight Zones, One Cohesive Experience
The scale of the brief was considerable. Eight distinct audio zones needed to be specified, each with its own character and requirements. Bar Twenty-Seven demanded the energy and impact of a premium sports bar. The VIP area required a more refined, controlled atmosphere. The Stealth Gym, spin studio, and boxing ring each called for audio capable of motivating and driving performance. And across all of these spaces, the system needed to be simple enough for staff to operate day to day.
The connection to Habitech came through Robbie Savage, who introduced Jay to the team. From that point, Habitech's John Perry, Jane Anstead, Dave Bunnage, and Winston Williams provided comprehensive support throughout the project.
Sonance Professional Across Every Zone
The Sonance Professional Series was specified across all eight zones, with different models selected to suit each environment. Ten PS-P63T pendants bring bold, clear audio to Bar Twenty-Seven, whilst 15 PS-C63RT in-ceiling speakers provide a more discreet solution in the VIP bar. The Stealth Gym features seven PS-P83T pendants for impactful, high-energy sound, with four PS-S83T surface-mount speakers and two PS-S210SUBT subwoofers delivering the power needed for the spin studio.
Across the wider gym areas, 22 PS-S63T surface-mount speakers provide consistent coverage, with 12 PS-C43RT in-ceiling models handling restrooms and back-of-house areas. Outdoors, the Sonance Landscape Series ensures the experience extends beyond the building. The diversity of the Sonance Professional range made it possible to tailor the audio character of every space whilst maintaining a consistent quality throughout.
Video, Processing, and Control
Dahua video walls make a dramatic statement in Bar Twenty-Seven, with eight LS550UCM panels creating a striking centrepiece for live sports viewing. Additional Dahua displays are deployed in the gym areas, providing visual content that complements the audio experience.
The entire audio system is managed by a Yamaha MTX-5D processor with three Yamaha XMV amplifiers, providing robust, reliable power and intelligent signal routing. Seven Yamaha DCP4V4SEU wall panels give staff intuitive local control across the venue. WyreStorm NetworkHD 400, with 30 endpoints distributed throughout the building, handles video distribution across all zones.
